What are managed funds?

The Forsyth Barr Funds are a managed investment scheme with a range of funds that have been put together by the Tempo Investment Committee. These funds are issued by Forsyth Barr Investment Management Limited.

Managed funds are an investment that pools your money together with other investors’ money and invests it in underlying investment(s). Managed funds that directly or indirectly invest in a variety of underlying investments spread your risk across those underlying investments no matter how much you’re investing. That’s harder to achieve if you’re investing directly in bonds and shares. And with managed funds, the choice of underlying investments is left to the experts.
