How do I set up a recurring payment?

To set up a recurring payment with Tempo you'll need to set up a regular payment through your online bank account. Follow these simple steps.

Step 1

Go to your online banking account.

Step 2

From your online bank select to make a payment.

Step 3

Enter the following details:

• Tempo’s bank account number: 01-1839-0938488-00
• Your unique goal reference code in the reference field 
• Your last name in the particulars field

Entering the reference and your last name for your payment is important. It means we can match your payment to your Tempo account. Your unique goal reference code can be found in your goal when you tap the Put money in button, or in your Welcome email.

Step 4

Enter the amount and frequency you want to invest. It's best to match it with your plan to get to your goal.

Step 5

Save the payment with your bank. You can also save Tempo as a payee to make any future changes easier.

Each time your payment comes through to Tempo, it automatically gets invested. You don't need to do anything extra.
