INVEST10 Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. The first 1,000 eligible customers to use the INVEST10 promo code will receive a one-off payment of $10 from Tempo towards their Tempo goal. 
  2. To be eligible you must:
    1. have completed our customer onboarding process and set up a Tempo goal, but not yet made any payment towards that goal nor redeemed or applied to redeem a payment as part of a sign-up promotion; and
    2. be one of the first 1,000 customers to enter the promo code during the promotion period. 
  3. The promotion period is from 15th April 2025 to 10th December 2025 (inclusive). 
  4. How to enter the promo code:
    1. On Sign-Up:

      Tap ‘Get started’.

      Select ‘Apply code’.

      Enter the code. 

    2. After Sign-Up:

      Tap on the ‘Me’ tab in the app.

      Select ‘Promo code’.

      Enter the code. 

  5. The $10 payment will be invested in the fund mix for your Tempo goal. The payment should appear within 7 working days of redeeming the code, though it may take longer in some cases. 
  6. The $10 payment is a one-off and will not be payable if your Tempo account or goal is closed before the payment is made. 
  7. If you have more than one Tempo goal set up, the $10 payment will be applied to the first goal created; no additional payments will be made for any other goals. 
  8. The promotion is limited to New Zealand residents only. Employees of Tempo and its related companies are not eligible. 
  9. Tempo may, at its discretion, allow additional customers beyond the initial 1,000 to claim the $10 payment using the promo code and/or permit the promo code to be redeemed after the promotion period has ended. 
  10. Tempo reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion at any time and will endeavour to provide notice of such changes. 
  11. Tempo is not responsible or liable for any failure or delay in providing the $10 payment which is caused (directly or indirectly) by forces beyond our reasonable control or by third parties. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Tempo will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of participation in this promotion. 
  12. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, limit or modify any rights or other protections you have under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, except to the extent that this is permitted by law. 
  13. These terms and conditions are governed by the law of New Zealand and the courts of New Zealand will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute arising in relation to these terms and conditions and the promotion.
